Nice to meet you...Most people know me as Kimi.
I'm a seventeen year old long-distancer living in Scotland. Currently I'm in my final year of high school, waiting on responses from university. A teacher and mummy are amongst the things I want to become someday. I love to create. Please feel free to message me any time - I really enjoy getting to know new people!
And, of course, enjoy your stay! Want to know more?

Approaching 2012
With somewhere around two hours to go until 2012, I feel as though I should reflect on the past year and contemplate my goals for the year ahead.
2011 was, for the most part, a very good year. In the beginning few months it was slow and steady and I would have liked it to continue that way, but inevitably by the coming of the Summer months, things sped up and I find myself writing in disbelief in the last few hours as though Spring was only a week ago. There have been times this year which have proved difficult to get through, and other times during which I could not have hoped for more happiness in my life.
Highlights of 2011
Brought in the year with a kiss for the first time in my life.
My relationship with Marty hit the one year mark, and we’re still going strong with only 21/22 (depending on when you’re reading this) days until we hit two years. Here’s to us!
I received a very red mane of hair thanks to my hairdresser’s persuasion and kept the colour until mid-year…
… And because of this I took part in the Wella Trend Vision contest as a model.
I survived my first ever blood-test which, although I did not feel so at the time, I am very proud of for doing despite crying and being deathly afraid.
Reassuringly found out that I’m not anemic.
Changed my diet majorly.
Sat my higher exams… And got reasonably good results.
Was awarded the prize for higher German and got my hands on Lolita!
Went on my amazing senior residential trip and thankfully didn’t have to do the marines’ workout!
Joined the editing team for the school’s Arts & Literature magazine.
Spent most of the Summer break with Marty for a whole month in which we traveled to Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. Lots of memories that I won’t forget for a very long time.
Wrote an almost-novella.
Nurtured a better relationship with my camera after a series of shoots over my Autumn break.
Actually attended the Halloween disco as a corpse.
Helped out in the production of Hooked!.
Turned Seventeen!
Decided to do something with my life and after months of procrastination, applied for University.
Took part in a fashion show.
Attended the Christmas Dance
In the coming year I would like to…
get accepted into University. Or at least be invited to an interview.
get a job before University. Or again, at least be invited to an interview.
get a job during University. If I get in.
visit Marty. If I have the money. Which requires me to get a job.
get over my mini fear of transfer flights.
continue to eat healthily.
get back into yoga.
draw more.
write more.
work more.
procrastinate less.
make more friends who are more like myself and who are worth keeping.
pass my exams… Which should really be at the top of this list considering I want to get into Uni…
talk to more people on tumblr because I know wanting to meet people in real life is a little far-fetched hehe.
grow my eggling into a beautiful basil plant
I wish you all an amazing 2012… Happy New Year (when it arrives with you), guys!
