Of Snow and Hurricanes and Art and Fashion Shows and My Lens and yeah

Update on what’s happened in the past week:
Christmas tree is up, Spongebob and all!
Finished my personal statement and all that university nonsese… Sending my application off soon!
SNOW. Lots of snow. It had all melted by yesterday and is back this morning.
Hurricane Freidhelm Bawbag cut our power out for a total of 3-4 hours. Good times! Reading by candlelight was an experience to say the least (but why did it have to be the part with all the sex scenes?! WHY!?)
My lens came back good as new (because they ordered a new one… So its not my lens at all… haha)
Arranged a date to take photos of a woman-I’ve-never-met’s children for a birthday present for a relative (they have an ickle one, too! Never photographed toddlers before - excluding Darcy - so this should be fun <3)
My art folio is finally going somewhere
Took part in a fashion show featuring outfits made out of recycled material… Our entry didn’t win, but I know the girl whose team did win and she’s very happy about it and was hugging me all over in the changing rooms afterwards and inside I was just thinking, “Cath, that’s great, but I’m in my underwear practically… I feel awkward here! D:”
Hopefully I’ll get some photos from Matthew so I can show you how much of a clown I looked yesterday. And maybe some photos of our Christmas tree. Yeah, that sounds good…
